Each and every of the staff working under the surveillance of Thakur and Shikre in the BCCI, will be duly removed from the working panel as it has been decided by the Committee members as per the media sources.

According to India Today, Rahul Johri, the CEO of BCCI, will cover up with his officials to wind up the operations in the Delhi office. “The staff in both these offices had nothing to do. Hence we decided to end their service,” Vinod Rai, the head of the committee told India Today.

“The staff attached with the erstwhile BCCI president and Hon. Secretary’s office to be relieved,” read a statement after the CoA had met in Delhi on February 1. After that a decision was taken by the committee to appoint a member in Delhi to carry on the works and look after the office of BCCI, before winding up.

Nishant Arora, the Indian team media manager, also has resigned from his post.

Thakur and Shirke were removed from their position by the Supreme Court on January 2 this year. The apex court then appointed Vinod Rai, Ramachandra Guha, Diana Edulji and Vikram Limaye to run the board on January 30.
