ROJO COULD FACE A SIMILAR ACTION AS TEAM- MATE ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC FACING RIGHT NOW

SPORTS LIBRO FOOTBALL- FOOTBALL NEWS:

EPL TRANSFER NEWS:

The Argentina international Marcos Rojo, who is currently playing for the Premier League giant Manchester United since 2014 could face retrospective action by the FA after appearing to stamp on Eden Hazard.

The former Sweden international and current Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic was recently slapped with a three-game ban after being found guilty of violent conduct, when he clashed with Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings.

LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS:

And Mings was also banned but for five games by the FA for stamping on the head of the Swedish striker.

FOOTBALL MATCH:

And now it seems like the United defender Rojo could face a similar sanction should the FA decide to take action against him.

As during the second half of Chelsea's 1-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory over United at Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea forward Hazard was under pressure from Rojo and when Hazard went to ground under a challenge by the United defender. Rojo's right foot seemed to make contact with the Belgian's chest.

But no action was taken at that point of time and action can only be taken if referee Michael Oliver didn't make a note of it in his match report.
