The full back of Real Madrid receives accolades from the head coach as they managed to defeat Valencia side by 2-1 goals in the La Liga.
The French coach of Real Madrid praised about his side’s full back’s after they helped their side to win the crucial game against Valencia in the La Liga.
In the beginning of the match Carvajal supply a perfect cross towards Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo made no mistake and scored the first goal against the Valencia side but in the 82nd minute Dani Parejo had cancelled out Ronaldo’s goal by a superb free kick but just after few minutes of that the Real Madrid left back Marcelo scored the winning goal for the Madrid side.
With that win, Madrid retains their position on the top of the table and they are now having an advantage over the Barcelona side.
Zidane said: "I'd like to secure the result earlier but we know we can score at any time and with any player,"
They are very good. They attacked a lot. They are among the top three or four full-backs in the world.
"When you don't get the second goal, they [Valencia] can always score, but the result is deserved. We worked hard and put in a lot of energy."
Zidane believes that Valencia’s defensive play made their life difficult to score against them as in that match Ronaldo missed s spot kick and also Benzema’s shot hit on the crossbar.
He voiced: "It's worse and even more so when it's against us,"
"But there are no excuses. They played their game and we made it difficult by not scoring the second. We had a lot of chances; that means we can improve.
"The fans knew we needed a push and they responded in the best way. The fans helped us to get the second. That's what this club has."
