Even though the Spanish giant Real Madrid extended their lead at the top of La Liga to five points, as they won 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
But all was not well with the Real Madrid’s star Cristiano Ronaldo as he was taken off 10 min. before the full time.
This made the 32-year-old Portuguese man unhappy as he voiced his discontent upon being substituted.
The French man Zinedine Zidane, who is currently managing the Spanish giant decided to take off the Real Madrid No. 7 roughly 10 minutes from time, as he looked to control the game and see out the result by introducing Isco.
But Portuguese international was angry at being taken off this season
"Why me? F*** off," Cristiano Ronaldo was caught saying, as shown on Gol TV.
It isn't the first time the Portuguese international was angered at being taken off this season, and this time the two eventually made up by shaking hands after the fact.
Although the French man Zidane later explained his decision to take Cristiano Ronaldo off in the second half.
He said, "Ronaldo can be taken off from time to time, there's nothing more to it. He is just happy we won the game.”
"Cristiano gave a lot during the game. When you have to run up front it is more difficult, that’s why we made those changes."
