The Northeast based I league club Shillong Lajong FC are looking forward to build on their momentum when they take on a resurgent Chennai City FC in a tenth round I-League match here on Sunday.

 

The Shillong based I league club Shillong Lajong are currently standing at 4th of the league table with 13 points eight points behind the table toppers East Bengal FC, after having enjoyed a good run over the last one month. They won four back to back matches at home - against Minerva Punjab, Mumbai FC, Chennai City and Churchill Brothers - but succumbed to a 1-2 defeat to DSK Shivajians in their fifth home game before sharing points equally with the high flying East Bengal FC in Siliguri.
