Transfer News- No Man City Offer for Sanchez- Wenger

The Chilean star has been linked with a  move away to Manchester City in this January transfer window, but the Arsenal gaffer is confident that his players will not leave them until their contracts expire.

The French manager Arsene Wenger said that they did not receive any offer for Sanchez from Manchester City yet, and also he wishes to hold onto Sanchez and Ozil.

After the end of this season, both Ozil’s and Sanchez’s contract with Arsenal will expire and this January transfer window both the players get linked with a move away, Manchester City is interested in the Chilean superstar and on the other hand Manchester United want to add Ozil to their ranks.

Though earlier Pep Guardiola has persisted Sanchez to stay at Arsenal,  but the Chilean star is desperate to move away from Arsenal.

On this Tuesday Wenger said:  "We have not been contacted by anyone,"

"This club has lost many big players and responded well.


“But you want to keep your best players. I want them to stay. Why should I be scared?"

Arsene Wenger is confident that if both the starts depart this transfer window Arsenal can find perfect replacement for them.

He added: "It will depend as well on the players out of contract in June. We have to take that and respond to it,"

“We have not lost them yet and [if we do], we will respond by bringing in players of top quality.


“We have not been contacted by anybody."
