The Head coach of Atletico Madrid believes that his side can overcome the 3-0 defeat against the Real Madrid side in the second leg of the Semi-final.


The Argentine manger is still optimistic to get a spot in the Champions league final by defeating their City rivals Real Madrid though they had conceded 3 goals in the first leg against them.

In the first leg, the mighty Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick against the Atletico Madrid side and that ensure that the Los Blancos side takes a huge step towards their another Champions league final.

In Atletico’s  last match against the Eibar, the young Spanish midfielder Saul scored the winning goal for them in the second half and the Argentine coach believes anything can happen in their match against Real Madrid.

Simeone said: "On Wednesday we have a very difficult game, impossible for many, but not for us, nothing is impossible"

"They are two different games, we were beaten the other day and the following days have been difficult. 

"Now we need to be ready to play in a huge game."

With that win over Eibar the Atletico Madrid side secure their top three finish in a sixth successive season in the LA Liga they are now five points clearer than the fourth place Sevilla side.

Simeone voiced: "The third place is still not closed off, we are missing a point,"

"I am proud to have these players, it makes me happy to see the atmosphere around the club.

"We started the season poorly and lost regularly, so to get up and continue fighting has put us in an important place and we are looking forward to closing it out in the next game."
