Real Madrid Lattes news avouches that this season the Spanish giants are heavily linked with the EPL striker Harry Kane but former Real Madrid player thinks that Real should go forward for Mbappe and not for Kane.
According to Steve McManaman, Real Madrid should go after the French youngster Mbappe rather than be investing €200 million on Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Some News suggests that Many football pundits think that Harry Kane is a successor of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
Harry Kane outstanding form in front of the goal for Tottenham and England puts him in the shop window, and right now at this stage, many people are comparing him with the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Still, Mcmanaman thinks Real Madrid should invest on someone who can unleash his potential for them rather than on proven performer.
Mcmanaman said: "I would prefer [to sign] a young boy like Kylian Mbappe.
"It's very difficult to sign Kane. The price of footballers today is crazy.
"It is better to promote from within.
"You need to pay €200 million for Kane and I do not understand those figures."
But Mcmanaman thinks that the Tottenham striker will face no difficulty to get settled in Spain.
Mcmanaman in his days left his homeland England and plays his football with the Los Blancos side and made more over 150 appearances for them and in his tenure with Real Madrid, he has won two La Liga titles and two Champions league.
He added: "In England the clubs are very professional and it is a great place to be.
"Kane can stay in London because he is happy with his family.
"But if he moved to Real Madrid, surely he wouldn’t have problems adapting.
"Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and other players speak English and can help him. Madrid is also a beautiful city."
