Though Madrid proceeds to the next round with a 5- 2 aggregate, because of their 3-0 win against their counterpart in the first leg match.

Last night Lucas Vazquez gave Madrid the lead and he scored two goals for them but in the second half Numancia striker, Guillermo scored a brace to cancel out Real Madrid’s lead.

Before this match Madrid was also unable to win on their home soil against some weaker opponents, Fuenlabrada drew at Madrid earlier in this competition.

In the recent past in their La Liga game against Celta Vigo they were held at Home, and in the El Clasico, they had bite the dust against their arch-rivals Barcelona by 3-0 goals.

Zidane who signed a new Madrid deal , voiced: "I just go game to game, year to year,"

"I cannot think two or three years down the line, as I know how it is here, even having a contract, which means nothing.

"It is not easy for the players who play less. We played a good game. We maybe lacked a bit of gas at the end."

Last night Zidane made several changes in the starting line up, he puts a young team against Numancia at Home and left Out stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, and Modric.

Zidane added: "I am happy with what the players did,"

"The pity is the goal before half-time, and also a goal at the end. But apart from that we had a good game, and they did what they had to do.

"For me, we are recovering things and we will [recover] with my players and staying relaxed, without problems.

"All the questions, things you think about bad play or whatever, it could be. But we are convinced we will move forward.

"I am happy with those who played. I am satisfied across the two games, and the players are too."
