The Spanish giant Real Madrid are currently in Japan to play the Club World Cup semi-final against the Mexican professional football Club America in Yokohama on Thursday and the 31-year-old Real Madrid’s hotshot Cristiano Ronaldo insists that the Club World Cup trophy is very much important to them and they want to lift the trophy.
The last season’s Champions League winner will play against the Japanese professional association football club Kashima Antlers, if they beat Club America on Thursday.
But the Portuguese international and Real Madrid’s forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has already scored 270 goals in his 247 appearances for the Spanish giants since he joined the club in 2009 has recently admitted that he wants to lift the Club World Cup trophy,
As speaking to the club's official TV channel, Ronaldo said,
"We haven't come to Japan for a holiday. We have come to win the Club World Cup,"
"It's a trophy that means a lot. We want to win this competition and finish the year in the best way possible."
"Real Madrid fans are the best and we want to win the Club World Cup and share another title with all madridistas."
