According to the Bayern Munich news, the former World cup winner backed the second Bayern Goalkeeper Sven Ulreich to stand positively in their crunch match against the Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.
Former Bayern Munich legend Sepp Maier does not believe that Manuel Neuer’s injury is a setback for the Bundesliga giants as they are portraying before their match against the Paris Saint Germain side.
Bayern Munich news alludes that this season the Germany No 1 Picked up an injury in his left foot and because of that he will be benched until January and that make Ulreich to the goal.
In this Wednesday the Bayern Munich side will envisage the French giants Paris Saint Germain in Champions league and the former Stuttgart goalkeeper will be given the responsibility of the gloves against the Paris Saint Germain side.
The former Bayern legend believes that Paris Saint Germain side would not pay attention as who is standing at Bayern’s goal.
He voiced: “Let’s be honest, Neymar won’t care who’s in Bayern’s goal,”
“For Bayern, Neuer’s injury isn’t that dramatic because they still have a very good goalkeeper with Ulreich.
“No-one on this earth is irreplaceable, at least in the short term. Over a longer period, it’s another issue, but I’m not pessimistic. Ulreich has already played well during Neuer’s recent absence.”
This season the 29-year-old Ulreich has played four games for Bayern and conceded three goals.
