The Kolkata giants finish their last years I LEAGUE on a high note and this season also they will start the season as a top contender.


The Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan signed Brazil-born naturalized Equatoguinean footballer Eduardo Ferreira, this 33 year old defender played his part with FC Pune City in the third edition of ISL.

The Green and Maroons will start their I LEAGUE preparation from 26th December.

The former Flamengo and Corinthians youth team player has played his football in Brazil, Colombia, South Africa and Iran after that he came in India,

He is the second Equatoguinean player who will be play in the top tier league of the country,

Raul Fabiani is the first player who plays as a first Equatoguinean player in the top tier league of the country.

The MOHUN BAGAN FC also bought the Indian Defender Anas Edathodika for their upcoming I league campaign,

Anas Edathodika plays an instrumental role for Delhi Dynamos in the ISL for the last couple of years.
The East Bengal side also tracks down the player and made some offers to him but he chooses to join the Green and Maroons.

The Kolkata giants strengthen their defense for the upcoming competitions and they are able to hold on to Jeje Lalpekhlua,who just won the AIFF Player of the year award.

On 8th January, 2017 the Mohun Bagan side will start their journey in the I league against Churchill Brothers.
