WEST INDIES vs INDIA, 3rd TEST, DAY 4: TEAM INDIA TO KEEP THE MATCH IN THEIR HANDS

At the end of fourth day India leads by 285 runs

Team India brings the game back into track as they started the second innings before the fourth day ended. The match seems to end as draw but without minding it The team will lead as they are 1-0 ahead of their rivals. West Indies at the end of first innings had put a score of 225 runs on the board with losing all of their men. A the end of 1st innings Kraigg Brathwaite gathered 64 runs for his nation until he was send back by Ashwin. 48 runs came from the bat of Marlon Samuels after striking 7 boundaries. Expectations were too high from Darren Bravo but to his dismay, he left the crease on 29. Roston Chase and skipper Jason Holder, both the heads were down as both were send back on 2.

India on their bowling part did the best they could, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took up a ‘fifer’ after providing 33 runs to his rivals of 23.4 overs which includes 10 maidens. Ashwin managed to send a double out of ground where as Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma are satisfied with a single wicket in their name.

India started the second innings, managed to put 157 runs on board. The team lost three vital wickets within a small span of time, Lokesh Rahul went back for 28, Shikhar Dhawan was dented to 26 where as Skipper Virat Kohli could not gather more than 4 runs. Undefeated Ajinkya Rahane still on crease for 51 runs and helping him is Rohit Sharma, who stands on the ground on 41.

West Indies on the other hand trying to detain runs of their rivals as much as they can. Miguel Cummins picked up 2 wickets in 6 overs and Roston Chase ended the day after having a single man.
