Messi is an Alian: Montella

Football News: The Sevilla boss believes that Messi is out of this world, but he still feels that his side can spring a surprise for the Catalan giants.

Today Sevilla will face Barcelona on the Copa Del Rey final, and Montella is confident that in this game his side can outsmart Barcelona, though they have the best player in their squad.

Montella is optimistic about their chances against Barcelona.

This season Barcelona had an outstanding season so far, they are already on the brink to win their domestic silverware, and they are the hot favourites to win the first leg of the Copa Del Rey final against Valencia at Wanda Metropolitano.

PRESS CONFERENCE l @VMontella: "It's possible for us to win against @FCBarcelona, we just need to stay focussed" #AllTogetherToAnotherFinal

In their last encounter the match ended as a 2-2 draw, where Barcelona came back from behind and labelled the match., and the Sevilla head honcho warned his teammates that this time they cannot. Let shine Messi at this biggest stage

The former Milan coach voiced: "Barcelona are a great team, as we have seen in La Liga,"

"They have almost won it, so they are favourites but we have to think about ourselves and our attitude and quality and skills. We have to think how to face Barcelona that way.

"I also think that Messi is an alien. I hope he will be that high tomorrow instead of on the Earth. We have to try to avoid him receiving the ball.

"We've seen that it is possible to win against Barcelona, but for this to happen we have to be focused throughout the whole game and not lose concentration at any moment.

"I'm hoping for a balanced game, one that will be decided by smaller details, keeping us in the running."
