The Argentine ace and FC Barcelona’s hotshot Lionel Messi have been voted the best playmaker in the world for 2016 earlier on Thursday, after the IFFHS made its results public.
The 29-year-old Argentine ace Lionel Messi, who has already scored more than 500 goals for the Spanish champions FC Barcelona is currently the leading top scorer of 2016.
And according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), the Argentine ace collected 172 points, four more than last year, finishing ahead of the Spanish international and FC Barcelona’s playmaker Andres Iniesta, second in the ranking with 66 points and Toni Kross, third with 45 points.
And according to votes collected in 56 countries, the top 10 playmakers of 2016 are as follows,
