The 22 year old Dutch international Memphis Depay thinks that his prior coach is a good person.

The 22 year old winger thinks that the special one is a good person; despite he was benched by him in his Manchester United time.

The 22 year old claims that he has no malice against Jose Mourinho, though this season he was transferred into the French side Lyon and  he thinks that he is a "a great coach and person".

This season the winger joins the French side of Manchester United for 16m, as he fails to impress the special one and the manager totally overlooked him in his time at Manchester United, that’s the reason he chooses to leave them.

Manchester United brought the player in 2015 under the Louis Van Gaal and after that in his debut season he made 45 appearances for the Manchester United team and scored 7 goals for them in all competitions, but in this season he has only played just 20 min under the special one.

Manchester United sold him the French side Lyon with a buy back option, and Jose Mourinho was also happy about Depay’s attitude.

Memphis added: "His words were nice. In Manchester, I always worked as I had to. For me personally, it wasn't all that easy,"

"I needed to play. But we didn't have a bad relationship.

"He's a great coach and a great person. Now we'll see here how I play. In any case, I think he has said good things about me."

The young Dutchman made his debut for the French side on Sunday where they won the match 3-1 against Marseille.

Memphis voiced: "I'm known because I score goals and provide assists. But I also know the leading scorer here, Alexandre Lacazette. We have a good understanding, his movement is very good,"

"I feel very good, in top form. My first week was good, training went very well, and little by little I'm getting back into the rhythm. Now I think I'm ready to start a game as of the next match. I'm training hard, my fitness is good. I think I can push for a starting place for the next game."
