The former Brazilian international and former FC Barcelona star Ronaldinho has backed Manchester City wonder kid Gabriel Jesus to replace Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.
The 36-year-old former Brazilian international Ronaldinho believes that Manchester City’s wonder kid Gabriel Jesus will be future Lionel Messi, the best in the world.
As the 19-year-old Brazil International Gabriel Jesus, who is currently playing for the Premier League giant Manchester City has already scored three goals in his three appearances since he joined City from Palmeiras in January.
And at the age of 19, he has already played in six games for Brazil, bagging four goals in the process.
Which has the Brazilian legend Ronaldinho to believe that Manchester City’s wonder kid Gabriel Jesus will replace Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.
As in a recent interview, Ronaldinho told The Mirror,
"Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus,"
"Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world.”
"At the moment it is Messi. I have always said that I think one day it will be Neymar.”
"But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen."
