The Kolkata based Indian Super League club Atlético de Kolkata will host the highlanders NorthEast United FC side at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in the 2016 Hero Indian Super League on Thursday.

Recently Atletico de Kolkata let slip a win against 10-man Delhi Dynamos FC in their last match despite taking the lead twice and they are now looking forward to sort out their defense problem and pick up maximum points to solidify their claim for the playoffs.

On the other side, it is a must win game for the Highlanders. Northeast United made a splendid start to the season with back-to-back victories, but later lost their winning momentum. They are winless in their last five matches, including four successive defeats and standing on the bottom of the table with 10 points. In their last match, they dominated 10-man down FC Goa for the most part, but ended up losing 2-1 in the dying minutes.
However, the Highlanders will be boosted by the return of the Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro, who is their top-scorer with five goals this season. The Uruguayan served a one-match suspension due to yellow card accumulation.
