Manchester United News says that the Chelsea legend Lampard believes that the quality of the players, and not the Manager, might cost the Red Devils this season.

The Chelsea superstar Frank Lampard believes that Manchester United players to blame not to Mourinho if Manchester United fails to win EPL this season.

Manchester United news confirmed that this season the special one has faced some criticism for his playing style, and right now Red Devils are sitting eight points behind than the Manchester City side in the EPL table.

Lampard in his career he has won three EPL trophies and in which two was under Mourinho with Chelsea but he believes that it will come down to players and not on Mourinho if this season Manchester United fails to win EPL title.

Lampard said: "Mourinho is a manager that likes to win and he has a way of winning. It's different to Pep Guardiola, different to Antonio Conte and that's his way,"

"If Manchester United don't win the Premier League, for me it's the quality of the players.

"Manchester City have a very strong squad this year, Chelsea still have a very strong squad and I think particularly the first XI, if everybody's fit, Chelsea are very strong.

"When I look at Manchester United, they're there around that area, but maybe the other teams can be stronger.

"I certainly don't think it'll be the manager, and I actually do think that Manchester United will be competitive towards the end of the season, so we'll see."

In their last four EPL games, Manchester United managed to win just one game only.
