Former Blues midfielder Damien Duff criticized the Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba for his mistakes and he believes that the 24-year-old cannot be a world class player because of his mistakes.
Manchester United signed him from Juventus in 2016 for a world record fee, but this season he has been under fire for many Football Pundits and in the recent past he has been involved in a feud with the Special one after being substituted against Tottenham and because of that he was not in the starting line up in their Champions League clash against Sevilla last night.
But last night the Frenchman was lucky as his teammate Andre Herrera got injured last night and Pogba came in the field as a substitute but still the former Premier league winner Duff was unimpressed with the Frenchman’s performance against Sevilla.
In an interview, Duff voiced: "He doesn't have that defensive mindset, he doesn't smell danger and he gives away goals,"
"An alarming thing for me is top players, if they make a mistake, they won't make it again, probably in their career.
"The goals he gives away, people always running off him, he hasn't grasped it. He's had Massimiliano Allegri, he's had Antonio Conte, he's had Mourinho, three amazing, top coaches and if he hasn't grasped that by now... I think he's 25 in a couple of weeks. That's worrying for me.
"I think he has world-class ability, but he is not a world-class player because he'll let you down."
This season Pogba has three goals to his name for Manchester United in Premier league but since November he is unable to find the net for the Red Devils.
