The Irish assistance manager believes that under Guardiola the Sky Blue side is not good as everyone is thinking about them.


The former football player throw down the Sky Blue side after their Spanish coach Guardiola made nine changes in their team and they somehow drew their match against Celtic in the Champions league.

The former Manchester United footballer thinks everyone is thinking Under Guardiola and Guariola himself is thinking that they are good enough but they are actually not good enough.

In the last Champions league game the Spanish coach gave his first line players a break and he introduced some youngsters in the starting lineup, youngsters like Pablo Maffeo and Tosin Adarabioyo.

In that match Manchester City loanee player Patrick Roberts scored the first goal for his team Celtic against his parent team Manchester City and shortly after that Kelechi Iheanacho scored the equalizer goal for Manchester City.

The Irish man said:

"Their squad probably isn't as good as maybe Manchester City think or even the manager.

"Obviously they knew they were already through but they showed a lot of disrespect to Celtic and Celtic were the slightly better team and could have gone on to win."

Manchester City’s chances in the Champions league knock out stages,
Roy Keane shared his view on that: "I think [they will struggle]. Particularly defensively."

In that match the youngster Roberts played brilliantly in the heart of the Manchester City’s defense and Keane is impressed with the youngster’s performance and Robets got the Man of the match award for his performance against Celtic.

Keane voiced: "He's a good player [Patrick Roberts] and took full advantage of the opportunity.

"Having said that, I thought the defending from Manchester City was absolutely shocking. They showed a lot of arrogance towards the game last night and perhaps disrespect to Celtic."
