Five Players Who Might Not Play the 2019 World Cup

2. Mohammad Amir

Amir’s performance has worsened with the passage of time and it does not justify his place in the team and hence he was removed from the squad.

Once thought as the biggest weapons of the 2019 World Cup, the pacer performed pretty decently in 2017, picking up 18 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 32 and economy of just over five. His three wickets in a span of six overs in the Champions Trophy final was great.

However in 2018, his performance have gone way down as he had managed to pick just three wickets in 10 games and his average has almost tripled than that of last year. Amir needs to work really hard to prove himself worthy for a World Cup spot.
