Ben Cutting’s Girlfriend Requests Rashid Khan To Take Care Of His Partner

The inaugural season of the Afghanistan Premier League is just a couple of days away and the Afghanistan players would be looking to perform well after their spirited performance in the recently concluded Asia Cup.

Cricket news: Both Cutting and Khan will be playing for their franchises in the Afghanistan Premier League 2018

Among those Afghanistan players is the star player Rashid Khan, who has recently secured the top spot in the ODI rankings for all-rounders.

He is also the second ranked bowler in ODIs and the top ranked bowler in T20Is. Recently he took to twitter to share his joy where popular Australian anchor and model Erin Holland congratulated him.

Erin is also the girlfriend of Ben Cutting, the all-rounder from Australia, who shares the same dressing room with Rashid Khan for the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Besides congratulating Rashid, Erin made a cheeky request to the Afghan player to take care of his fiancée and not to bowl him out too much in the APL 2018.

Cutting will be playing for the Nangarhar Leopards while Rashid is selected as the icon player for the Kabul franchise in the APL 2018.

Holland said via her official Twitter handle, “So happy for you Rashid! Look after (Ben) Cutting for me (maybe don’t bowl him out too much please) in the APL 2018.”

Rashid had a very witty reply in return as he told Erin that he would definitely look after her boyfriend on one condition that the Aussie does not sweep him.

The organisers of APL have managed to rope in some big names for the tournament in the likes of Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shahid Afridi, Brendon McCullum, Colin Munro, Thisara Perera and others.

Cutting will himself be a part of the squad which will have big names like Mushfiqur Rahim, Andre Russell, and Tamim Iqbal.

This tournament will give a huge boost to the Afghan players and give them experience, the lack of which cost them three close games at the hands of Pakistan, Bangladesh and India in the Asia Cup.

The T20 leagues all around the world have changed the fate of many countries and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) will also hope that it does the same for them too.

It will also be a test for senior players like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Shahzad and the other senior Afghan players, as they are desperate to make a strong squad for the 2019 World Cup.

With teams like Pakistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies not in their greatest of forms, the Afghans will look for their chances to make it to the knockout stages in England.
