Atletico de Kolkata faced their first defeat in this 3rd edition of the ISL against Mumbai FC with Diego Forlan hitting the nets at the 79th minute to register this glorious win.

''We don't know the reason the coach got sent off to the stands. Only the referee and God knows why he was sent off,'' he said, addressing the assembled reporters in the Spaniard's stead after the game.

Roy expressed his belief that the result was unfortunate. ''We were unlucky today but it's a given,'' he stated.

Furthermore, the former Mohun Bagan player explained that registering a victory in every fixture wasn't always possible. ''You won't win every game in this marathon league,'' he added.

''Debjit was a positive from today's game. He read the game really well,'' said the deputy gaffer.

Speaking to sources  after the game Debjit, shared his views on the high standards being set by Indian goalkeepers in the league.

''Indian goalkeepers playing well has helped the ISL. Having an Indian in goal allows the manager with the flexibility to have an additional foreigner in the outfield and that helps the team. I am very happy,'' he expressed.
