The former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is currently playing for the Premier League giant Manchester United came off the bench to score the winner as they recovered from an early deficit to beat Championship strugglers Blackburn Rovers 2-1 away in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday.
With the scores level at half-time, the Portuguese man Jose Mourinho, who is currently managing the Premier League giant Manchester United introduced Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba in the second half and their influence proved decisive against the Championship outfit.
As in 75th min. the Manchester United star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the winner after being set free by a precise long pass delivered by fellow substitute Paul Pogba, which is his first goal in the FA Cup and 24th goal of the season.
And after a sweat 2-1 away in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday, the France international and Manchester United’s playmaker Pogba says his team-mate's movement off the ball makes it easier for him to pick out passes.
As in an interview with BT Sport, Pogba said, “I try to help the team as much as possible. When I see [Ibrahimovic's] movement I can pass him the ball.”
"We try all the time, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but that is what we are trying to do. Today it worked and I am happy with that.”
