With three last ball/wickets defeat in three matches, the morale has been so down that Kieron Pollard has been seen making desperate request to the scribes,  “If you guys have any idea to tell us how to get over the line… if it happens again, give us an idea of what to do.”

Nevertheless the manner they have lost the games, there is still some hope which is keeping them going. Or as Pollard has said, “If we were down right now, we should be home.”

Every player who has featured in all the games has contributed in their own way, except the skipper Rohit Sharma. He needs to fire soon, or else it will be difficult for him to inspire his team in this flood of close losses.

Mumbai is going to face Bangalore next game who are yet trying to figure out what is wrong with them even in their 11th season. Even if all the players have done their fair share, there are holes which are opening up from time to time.

It seems that under-achievement has become a part of the Bangalore team. There is also a contrasting difference between the two captains.

Rohit has been the most successful captain with three IPL trophies while Virat has seen none in these 10 years.

When it comes to preparations a day ahead of the game, Mumbai was seen spending considerable time in the nets, while the players of RCB decided to take the day off.
