After an illustrious 21-year career the England international and Chelsea FC’s legend Frank Lampard hung up his boots yesterday 2 Feb. 2017 as Lampard feel now is the time to begin the next chapter in his life.
And after Lampard’s retirement Lampard’s England national team-mate for over a decade but the fierce club rivals Jamie Carragher has finally admitted his respect for the 38-year-old English legend Frank Lampard.
Both players Frank Lampard and Jamie Carragher have won stacks of trophies at Chelsea and Liverpool respectively, although Lampard trumps Carragher with three Premier League titles to his none.
And even after having many clashes during their time as players, Carragher has now opened up on his respect for Lampard.
As Carragher tweeted “After all those Chelsea battles and Frank Lampard now retiring, I can finally admit the respect I had for him and that he was a great player!”
