Starc Pulls Down Nathan Lyon’s Shorts On Camera

The ongoing Test between Australia and India at Perth have reached an interesting point after Day 3. With such an important fixture at stake, both the teams are fighting hard to not give an inch to the opposition.

During these circumstances, generally the players remain under constant pressure to deliver. There are seldom some moments when a player shares some light-hearted moments with his fellow teammates.

When it comes to a series between India and Australia, banter, sledging and controversies are always a part. The ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy has also not been an exception.

While the series hasn’t still witnessed full-fledged sledging, the banters are going on. On one side the Aussie pacers are trying to get under the skin of the Indians.

While on the other side Rishabh Pant is constantly seen chirping from behind the stumps. Both the sets of players have shown how much winning this fixture means to them.

Amidst all these, Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc managed to get everyone burst into laughter. The left-arm pacer, who rarely shows the lighter side of him on the field, pulled a hilarious prank on teammate Nathan Lyon.

It was just before the start of Day 3 when Lyon was giving an interview to the official broadcasters. Starc came running from behind and pulled down Lyon’s shorts.

He had definitely come to do the prank only. After pulling down the shorts of the off-spinner, Starc quickly ran off.

However Lyon didn’t show any reaction as he pulled his shorts up and continued giving the interview. But the commentary panel and everybody enjoyed the prank.

Here is the hilarious video of the prank:
