The 45 year old Spanish manager of PSG thinks his side is not inferior to Barcelona as both the teams will play against each other on this Tuesday.
The PSG manager does not think that the Spanish giants are better than his side aged of their Champions league clash in the round of 16.
In this Tuesday the PSG team will host team Barcelona on their home ground Parc des Princes and then the French giants lost only one match on their home ground in their last 42 home games in all European competition.
But earlier in 2012-13 and also in 2014-15 season both the team met in the Champions league on different stage, but both the times PSG faced defeat from the Catalan side.
But the head coach of PSG is confident that this time they can turn around the situation and they can defeat their opponents and reached to the Champions league Quarter finals.
In a news conference PSG head coach added: "Everybody knows Barcelona. We have analysed them and they will have analysed us. I have been working on our tactical plan and we do not feel inferior to anyone,"
"We have some important players who want to make history with PSG. Personal duels will be key. Tactics are very important, but it is all about winning your battles on the pitch.
"This tie is a good opportunity to show where we stand. It's a chance that we have to exploit. It is important because the Champions League is an important goal for us.
"We have to take our responsibilities and do everything to win. We want to measure ourselves against the best teams in the world.
"I am optimistic, I believe in my players. It will be hard for us, but the same goes for Barcelona."
