The former Manchester United man will play his part for the Kerala blaster under Rene Meulensteen with whom he has previously done his work at Fulham and Manchester United.

Former Bulgaria international Berbatov is edged closer to sign for ISL side Kerala Blasters and according to rumors, he has agreed to the personal terms and just within a few days he will sign a deal with them.

The 36 year old Bulgarian made his last appearances on the field for the Greek side PAOK in 2015 after that he remained as a free agent and the Kerala Blasters side approached him a few weeks ago.

A few months ago he expresses his desire to play in the EPL again and also claimed that he had a talk with the Sunderland manager David Moyes.

Rene Meulensteen Kerala Blaster coach has managed to pursuit two players in his squad, before Berbatov, he managed to bucket the Wes Brown.
