Barca: Selling Neymar a Bad decision –Rakitic

This season the Barcelona Superstar Neymar has left the Barca side and joined the Paris Saint Germain side for a record-breaking €222 million deal, and Neymar’s former team mate Rakitic believes that that is a disappointment for the Barcelona squad.

The Croatian midfielder also thinks that it is a bad decision for the Barcelona squad to encash Neymar to the French capital side.

This season the Brazilian attacker Neymar made his decision to join the French capital side and Barcelona side found themselves forced into the corner after Neymar’s decision and PSG side pulled the cash amount to trigger his move.

This season as a replacement of Neymar, Barca side brought Paulinho ana Dembele but Rakitic still believes that Brazilian will be a big miss at the Camp Nou.

Rakitic said: For me personally, it was really hard, not only because he's one of the biggest players; also, for me, he's a big person.

"He was really important for our dressing room, and forme he's one of the best guys I know in football.

"So forme it was really a bad decision because I liked to have him in my team."

In his tenure with the Barcelona side, Neymar made 186 appearances for the Barcelona side and scored 105 goals for them.

Filling Neymar’s gap will not be an easy job for Barcelona hat Rakitic admitted but also at the same time he ponders that they must respect his decision.

Rakitic said: "We have to respect Neymar's decision to move.

"If a team can buy him and he decides to leave Barcelona, we have to respect it and wish him the best [of] luck.

"Hopefully he can score a lot of goals and be happy in Paris, but we have to go on our way and be strong together without Neymar now."
