Bakayoko wants Conte to stay at Chelsea

Football News: Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to stay with the Blues after the end of this season.

The French midfielder wants to give his support to the under-fire Chelsea manager.

After the end of this season, the Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to leave the job after his side’s chances to qualify for the Champions league faded away after a draw against Huddersfield.

Despite under Conte Chelsea have reached to the Finals of F.A Cup, but the clubs hierarchy is ready to replace the Italian tactician.

This season Chelsea has brought the French international from Monaco, he backed his current manager and avouches that Conte has not said any words over his future with the Blues.

Questioned asked to the French midfielder about Conte’s future, Bakayoko replied: "He's never said that he might leave and he's always extremely focused on winning, on doing well in the season.

"As a player, I would be disappointed [if he leaves]. We all like working with the coach and having this relationship in the long-term.

"I've been working with him for a year and I've progressed a lot under him but it's really up to the club management, up to him and his entourage but he hasn't said anything."
