Russell is pumped up after training with Bolt’s physio

Cricket News: This season the mighty West Indian will made his comeback in the IPL after he ruled out from the prior edition. Russell missed professional cricket for serving a one year ban but now he is all set to attract the attention of all the cricket lovers with Kolkata Knight Riders in this eleventh edition.

VIVO IPL 2018: Russell is ready to fire the stage in this Eleventh edition of IPL.

The West Indian took participation in the recently concluded PSL where he had pulled out in the middle of the season due to a hamstring injury, though without him his side Islamabad United able to lift the trophy, which is the delight for the all-rounder. The Allrounder has toiled hard with Usain Bolt’s former Physio and completed boosted up to deliver in this season for KKR.

Russell voiced: Eddie used to be Usain Bolt’s physio. We all know Bolt is the fastest man in the world, I am the second (laughs) so yeah like to be anywhere close to his fitness, you need guys like Edward around you. He is my personal physio,”

Russell is a Caribbean cricketer and we all know that they are the party animals,he loves to hit the dance floor, visit pubs, his unrestrained lifestyle had cost him a year, about that incident which led him a one year ban, he said it was a rough phase of his life, and he will try to get better in the future days.

He stated: “It’s been tough, to be honest. You want to do things but you can’t. You restrict yourself from doing it to be a better player, to be a better athlete and person,”

“Like a lot of partying, drinking you know all those bad habits. I am not saying I am perfect, but I am working on it and it’s been treating me well. I am looking fit,”

About the new KKR skipper, Russell opined:
 ”(I am) excited to work with him. I have played against him. I will be sharing the dressing room with him and taking his instructions. It should be interesting.”
