5 Players Who Should Not Take Part in IPL Ahead Of World Cup 2019

1. Virat Kohli

Kohli has been scoring runs with ease and has scored 9779 runs in ODIs so far and is on the verge of entering the 10k club soon. With 35 centuries from 203 innings, he is just behind the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who has got 49 centuries from 452 innings.

With the consistency shown by skipper Kohli along with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma at the top of the order, the rest of the batting line-up have been tested only a few times.

As a captain, Kohli has taken his game to a whole new level. He has averaged 82.67 and has an amazing strike rate of 98.74. He has scored a century in every four matches (13 centuries in 52 matches as captain).

He is undoubtedly the biggest asset of India and the team cannot find his replacement if he somehow gets injured while playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.
