Indian super league: ATK sign Ryan Taylor

The defending Indian super league champions ATK signed former Newcastle star Ryan Taylor for injured Carl Baker.

This season the ATK midfielder Carl Baker picked up an injury and because of his injury he will miss this season’s Indian super league and as a replacement of him, the Kolkata giants added Ryan Taylor to their ranks.

The 33-year-old English man is a versatile player who can play as a fullback and also as a midfielder, in his career he has represented England at U21 side.

The Englishman started his career at Tranmere Rovers in 2002, and he spent his three years at there, after that he was announced the player of the year at Tranmere Rovers in 2004.

After joining the Kolkata giants ATK Taylor voiced: "I am very excited to play for ATK. I know ATK has a huge fan following who share a high level of passion for their team. I will give my best, for the team and we will get back to winning ways."

This season ATK is struggling in Indian super league, in their four matches they have only scored two points and sitting at the bottom of the table.
