5 Indian Cricketers Who Might Go Unsold In the 2019 IPL Auction

The auction of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to be held on December 18, which is just a few days away.

The eight franchises of the tournament have already presented the list of the players whom they have retained and whom they have released.

There are some high profile Indian cricketers who find themselves in the auction pool once again. They are great in their own regard, but their form has not been good of late.

They have failed miserably in the 2018 edition of the IPL and now the smart franchise owners might not pick them and look to forgo them for the upcoming season.

Here is the list of 5 such Indian players who might fail to get any team in this IPL season:

1. Gurkeerat Mann

The 28-year-old player from Punjab was picked up by his home franchise Kings XI Punjab in 2012. He was one of the best clean hitters of the ball and could find the gaps easily.

But his inconsistencies costed him his place as he went in and out of the team. He was even picked for the national team in the 2016 Australian tour, but was soon dropped from the team after the tour ended.

Punjab sold him to Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 auction, but he failed to get any game for his team. Now he is again back on the auction table and might not get any bidders this time. He is currently playing Ranji trophy for his home team Punjab.
