ENGLAND vs PAKISTAN, 3rd TEST, DAY 3: ENGLAND LEADS BY 17 RUNS ON THE THIRD DAY

England leads on the third day of the test by 17 runs

Pakistan played the first innings making a total runs of 400 at the cost of 10 wickets in 136 overs as a whole. Azhar Ali starred in day two where as Sarfraz Ahmed was left alone with an unbeaten 46 smashing 5 boundaries. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq gathered 56 off 107 balls taking 6 boundaries under his name.

On the other hand England bowlers did a good job to detain Pakistan to such a score. James Anderson plucked 2 wickets where as Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes gained 3 wickets respectively for their team.

England played a well off match on day 3 of the third test in Edgbaston, Birmingham, scored a total of 150 runs in 35 overs, losing none of their wickets. England skipper Alastair Cook  still on crease with undefeated 64 runs from a strike-rate of 66.67 with 7 boundaries. He is accompanied by Alex Hales another unbeaten player of 50 runs smashing 9 boundaries with a strike-rate of 43.10.

Pakistani bowlers merely could do anything against their rivals.
