Salaries of Indian Cricketers In 2018

4. Karun Nair – INR 1 Crore

He is also a talented batsman but has not used his talent to the best of his ability. He is the only other batsman after Virender Sehwag, who has scored a triple century in a Test match.

Just like Manish Pandey, he has got limited opportunities to prove his talent because of the upcoming talents who would give him tough competition. He is placed in Grade C contract and draws an annual salary of ₹1 crore.

5. Axar Patel – INR 1 Crore

Although he is a regular member in the limited overs format, but he is not getting much playing time because of the emergence of the wrist spinners.

His heroics with the bat is also not tested much as he failed to justify his batting ability at times and as a result Hardik Pandya is banked on as the preferred all-rounder. He currently receives ₹1 crore per year based on his contract.

6. Parthiv Patel – INR 1 Crore

He made a comeback to international circuit when Wriddhiman Saha got injured. Although he racks up many runs in the domestic circuit, he is very sloppy behind the stumps.

With Dinesh Karthik and other wicketkeepers trying to get into the squad as the second choice in the Test squad, Parthiv has to work extra hard to gain his place. According to his contract, he receives ₹1 crore per year.

7. Jayant Yadav – INR 1 Crore

He has last played in February 2017 Test against Australia and has played 4 Tests since where he took 11 wickets. Since then the selectors have pretty much lost interest in him.

He is somewhat of a better batsman than a bowler. But it would be impossible for him to get in the side as a batsman who can bowl too. It is surprising to see him get an annual contract and earns ₹1 crore currently.
