INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE 2016: LUCIO IS CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO BRING THE TROPHY FOR FC GOA.

Lucio is much interested and looking forward for the quality of players FC Goa have bought this year, and the former Bayern Munich player is very much confident of this fact to acquire the league.

 

 

The player Lucio is having some major positive vibes for the team and have assured the club and the nation that they will play the game above their potential and will not let down the club.

 

During the first season of ISL they had qualified themselves for the semis and after that lost to Atletico Kolkata during the penalties.

 

Lucio on an interview said:

 

“We will try to do as much justice as possible to the FC Goa shirt and strive as hard as possible to bring the trophy to Goa,”

 

The defender has some logical points to opt for FC Goa for yet another exciting of the ISL 3.

 

 

“It is important to be happy for me and the experience with FC Goa made me happy last season. As soon as the opportunity knocked, I took it up,” he answered.

 

On the exit of Robin Singh due to an injury caused to him:

 

“Obviously there has been a change in ownership here and some changes at the management level as well but Zico is still here. The technical staff is the same and most of players are the same. Hence, it didn’t seem like a very big change,” he further elaborated.

 

“Yes, we lost out on some players from last year but we have recruited well to replace them. The team is looking good for the season ahead,” he reasoned.

 

FC Goa will be in Guwahati on Sunday as they will compete with NorthEast United FC on Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
