The second Test between India and England in the five-match series which is scheduled to begin at Lord’s today, has not yet started because of the persistent drizzle.

Cricket news: The second Test has not yet started because of the persistent rain

Before the series began there was a lot of talks regarding the heatwave that was occurring in London and the warm temperatures had forced the captains of both the teams to think of fielding an extra spinner.

But currently the weather had changed drastically and it has been raining all throughout the day. Both the teams had not revealed their playing XIs keeping in mind about the conditions.

This had created a lot of excitement in the cricketing world. But recently it has come to notice that the line-ups might have been leaked before the toss.

It is a picture of the scoresheet which is posted on Twitter by a profile with the username ‘fake_bumrah_’. It is the scoresheet which is given to the scorers before the match.

The screenshot has shown that the visitors are going into the second Test with an unchanged side that has played in the Edgbaston Test.

England will play Chris Woakes and as a result Moeen Ali will again have to wait for his chance. The weather conditions might have forced both the captain to play one specialist spinner.

The Twitter user has claimed the news to be true and if it is true, then it will be the first time under Kohli’s captaincy that India will play with the same lineup in back-to-back Test matches.
