VIRAT KOHLI AND HARSHA BHOGLE WERE GOOD FRIENDS, BUT SEE HOW RELATION TURNED OUT

SPORTSLIBRO CRICKET –LATEST CRICKET NEWS

Harsha Bhogle was also known as the voice of cricket until he was been sacked by the panel of commentators because of the way he used to interact with the players and say about them.

And on this contrary the names that came up with a blow was Murali Vijay, Virat Kohli and the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who at the end couldn’t take up things and finally busted out on him.

As we all know it has almost been a year since Bhogle was taken up from the panel of commentators by the Star Sports because of the way he used to approach the players while taking an interview or during commentary

VIRAT KOHLI NEWS

As per the sources Kohli and Bhogle were very good friends until he made out an statement for Kohli and it was in 2016 Asia Cup and the match was against Bangladesh and this is what exactly happened,

During India’s group stage match against Bangladesh, Bhogle had said that Kohli was playing more shots than what he was scoring. Kohli was so frustrated with his display (he got out for seven), that after hearing Bhogle’s comments, he directly asked the commentator, “Why did you make such comments?”

MS DHONI NEWS

It was once again Bhogle who did not let anybody go with the type of commentary he used to do and therefore was sacked by the administrative panel, while the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that,

During the World T20 held in India last year, Bhogle was indirectly criticised by Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan who tweeted, “With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time.” Dhoni who is rarely active on Twitter, immediately retweeted the post and this proved to a major blow for Bhogle. His contract with Star Sports wasn’t renewed as players reportedly made it clear to BCCI that they won’t be interacting with Bhogle in front of the camera in future.

Cricketers are expected to show sportsman spirit in these situations but like Bhogle pointed out once an interview, the current crop of players aren’t like the Sachins, Souravs, Dravids and Laxmans who used to take criticism in a positive manner.
