ISHANT SHARMA TO MISS OUT THE FIRST TEST IN KANPUR AGAINST NEW ZEALAND DUE TO CHIKUNGUNYA.

One of the most dependable and reliable fast bowler for the Indian team Ishant Sharma will miss the first test against Kanpur to be held in 22nd September because of Chikungunya, a viral disease transmitted to humans by Mosquito bite.

On this account Anil Kumble the head coach of the Indian team told the media that no replacement for Ishant Sharma picked or called off.

It will be a very sour moment for the Indian team to miss out the man in form for the longer version due to an unpredictable disease, he has proved himself in the past with the bowl and is one of the leading wicket taker for the team and he is very consistent with his bowl.

“Ishant Sharma is recovering from chikungunya and will not be available for the first Test match,” Kumble told mediapersons after the training session.

“We’ll be closely monitoring his progress with the doctors and then take a call on his fitness after this Test. For this Test, the team management has decided that we won’t need a replacement. We’ll have 14 players, and we’ll select our team from them,” he added.

Ishant Sharma’s unpredictable exclusion will leave the team to play with just 3 regular time seamer which will be quiet a time to be tensed for the coach and the on field captain, it won’t be that easy for the team to cope up the environment with having Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav in the squad, as it will be quiet a tough task to rotate the bowlers during the mach.
