ENGLAND vs PAKISTAN, 3rd TEST: AZHAR ALI TAKES THE CHARGE FOR PAKISTAN

Azhar Ali took the charge for Pakistan Team in the third test match against England, scoring 139 runs in the first innings.

 

 

England started the innings by scoring a total of 297 runs in 86 overs at the cost of 10 wickets. Gary Ballance scored 70 runs putting 11 boundaries under his name off 150 balls with a strike rate of 46.67. Moeen Ali stood on crease till he managed to make 63 runs, smashing 7 boundaries. Skipper Alastair Cook started the game with a tremendous speed but had to move back to the pavillion scoring a total of 45 runs. 

On the other hand Pakistan bowler Sohail Khan took a fifer letting 96 runs out of his hand, Mohammad Amir and Rahat Ali grabbed 2 wickets respectively where as Yasir Shah picked a single man.

Pakistan on batting part roared like lion, Azhar Ali’s tremendous 139 eased half of Pakistan’s issues. He managed to score a ton with 15 boundaries and a huge six. Ali was accompanied by Sami Aslam who scored 82 runs smashing 9 boundaries were as England bowlers could not go up to the mark. James Anderson and Chris Woakes grabbed 1 wicket respectivey.
