WEST INDIES vs INDIA, 3rd TEST, DAY 2: CARIBBEANS VOWED TO TAKE THE THIRD TEST

At the end of day 2, West Indies trailing by 246 runs with a vow to gain the match after Ashwin’s ton

Ravichandran Ashwin knocked up an eye-popping performance on the second day of third test on St Lucia ground. His total runs of 118 guided the Indian team to a score of 353. Performance in batting of India disappointed it’s viewers. Much awaited and celebrated skipper Virat Kohli had to return from the ground after gaining 3 runs. Keeper Wriddhiman Saha accompanied Ashwin for some time and managed to gather 104 runs where as Lokesh Rahul was send back after a moderate score of 50 runs. Indian team lost all of their men in the first innings to the hands of the Caribbeans.

West Indies unveiled a tremendous performance in both bowling and batting after the second test. They dented India to a score of 353 with having all of their men. Alzarri Joseph and Miguel Cummins, each left the ground after sending 3 rivals to the pavilion where as Shannon Gabriel and Roston Chase managed to pick 2 wickets each.

The Caribbeans on the batting side too showed their expertise. Kraigg Brathwaite undefeated on 53 and Darren Bravo still on ground for 18. Leon Johnson scored 23 followed by his run-out by Lokesh Rahul.
