In the Upcoming T20 series against South Africa, after a few years Suresh Raina is set to make his comeback to the India team. He played his last game in 2017 for the Men in Blues, missed out a year due to his poor form and Fitness issue.

But in recently in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2018, he has played outstanding innings and because of that he Is back into the contention for the Men in Blues, Raina’s return to the Indian team will also help the Indian Skipper Kohli to get lot of answers.
Here are few reasons why Team India should include him In the ODI team also:

ONE OF THE BEST FIELDERS IN THE TEAM

Raina is a magnificent fielder, and at any position he can field well, he can save runs for team Indian with in the 30 yards circle, he is very athletic in the field, he will give the team everything as a fielder.

GOOD FINISHING CAPABILITIES

Suresh Raina was bought in the team to give support M.S Dhoni to finish along, he has made the NO.5 and No.6 spot of his own in the limited over’s cricket. Now Dhoni;s day as a finisher is behind him, Raina can take the responsibility and become the finished that team India is lacking now.

5-6 OVERS GENIUNE OFF SPIN

Indian Skipper Virat was aiming to play 5 bowlers in the Limited over ODI match, but in recent ODI’s we have seen he has chose four genuine bowlers and rely on part timers for the extra 10 overs, we have seen that in the recent ODI matches Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya was doing that for the Men In Blues.

And right now Kedar is struggling with his form and Pandya is not that goof to bowl 10 overs in a match so Suresh Raina can be the 5th bowler for team India.

HAS THE ABILITY TO SCORE FROM THE FIRST BALL

Perhaps he is the only Indian batsman, who has the ability to hit big from the ball one, he has done both for team Indian and in IPL,  he can hit the first ball he faces and then continue his batting with the same momentum. He can anchor the innings for team India if situation arrives, in ODI his strike rate is 93.76.

M.S DHONI CAN SHIFT HIS BATTING ORDER WITH RAINA AT 6

The addition of Suresh Raina means that M.S.Dhoni can bat on No 4 posisition, and Manish Pandya at No.5, and Rayne can play the role of a finisher.

Raina can take the responsibility from Dhoni, who is now facing a hard time finish the Innings for Team India, and is batting at No 6 can solve many problems for Team India, and they will have a better balanced team.
