India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav revealed how MS Dhoni’s advice turned into completely different player and revived his internation career.

The 32-year-old, who has been recently bought by Chennai Super Kings, is excited to play under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League. And also heels CSK as one of the top teams in IPL.   


In an interview with the CSK website, Jadhav said, “Over the last decade CSK have been one of the top teams in the IPL. So, being a part of this team I am sure I will give my best in every game and also learn more from Dhoni bhai on how to read a situation and adapt quickly.”

Kedar Jadhav is current of Indian squad due to injury but will be back to fitness before IPL starts. CSK bought Kedar Jadhav in a whopping 7.8 crores   rupees.


“I firmly believe that I became a different player after Dhoni bhai asked me to bowl in international cricket. I hadn’t even dreamt until then that I could bowl and pick wickets for India,” he said.


Speaking about the confidence and freedom MS Dhoni provides to his players “So, again playing under him (MS Dhoni) for CSK I am sure I will express myself in ways that I have never done before as his presence gives me immense confidence. He allows a player to express himself and supports a player in every possible way. He knows how to get the best out of every player, that’s his biggest quality,” he said.


Chennai Super Kings will take on the defending champions Mumbai Indians; it will be a battle of the champions in the season opener, as Indian Premier League starts from April 7, 2018.
