In the post-auction the Mumbai Indians Coach Jaywardhane expressed his disappointment after not able to snatch K.L Rahul or Sanju Samson, this season Rajasthan Royals brought Sanju Samson for 8Crs and Kings XI Punjub have K.L Rahul for 11 Crs.

Mumbai Indians targeted both of them to fill the spot of the wicketkeeper in this season as they thought they need a change in that spot, so they brought the Indian youngster Ishan Kishan for 6.2 Crs this season.

After the Auction, Mahels stated: “I don’t think there was much of a disappointment as such. I think the two steals for us would be Pollard who came at a reasonable price and the fees we got Evin Lewis and Ben Cutting for. Also, The Fizz [Mustafizur] at that price on Saturday and Pat Cummins, considering the Wankhede wicket. I am not disappointed except for Sanju and KL [Rahul], but the way it panned out, it was always going to be difficult to get them.”
