Though India won six back to back test series but all those wins came in India and that is a point of concern for sourav Ganguly  as winning in India has always been on the Cards for the home side.

And if we take a look at India's previous overseas tour records it hasn't been something that we can take pride on ourself as we have lost 2014 England series by 3-1, then the following down under series against Australia 2-0.

And we also fail to register a win both in South Africa and in New Zealand also.

but things are looking bit  different now as the young turks of Indian under Virat Kohli are on a roll here hammering both New Zealand and England by 3-0 and 4-0 respectively.

we can safely assume that things wont to different either when the Australia start their campaign in Indian few days from now on.

But the Prince of Kolkata has different view as he thinks this Indian side still needs to proves themselves on overseas tours only then we can say that this is the best Indian side in test matches India has ever had.
the same thing can be said for Virat's captaincy as well.

On asking Sourav Ganguly whether Virat Kohli's India is the best or not,

he said: when was the last time India lost in India.
