tough victory to go 1-0 up in the series against the England

SPORTS LIBRO- CRICKET NEWS:

INDIA CRICKET NEWS:

After a tough day with the bat on the fourth day, England could not manage a similar effort on the fifth day and lost their last eight wickets for 71 runs.

India just needed little more than a session to complete a 246 run victory over the English Cricket Team on Monday in Visakhapatnam, November 21, which is India’s second biggest against England in terms of runs and take 1-0 up in the series with three matches left.

MATCH SCORE:

The visitors side England started the day at 87/2 but clearly the bigger number for them wasn't runs but balls left. India had potentially 540 balls to get eight wickets, or even more if they could manage it.

English batsman Joe Root had faced 23 balls before the morning, but England had a bigger worry straight up as after Cook's last-ball-dismissal on the fourth evening, the entire batsman’s joining him in the middle, was someone who had struggled against the Indian spin.
