1. Virat Kohli – Rs 58.3 lakh per month

The current skipper of the Indian team Virat Kohli took over the captaincy of the team in January 2017 and is one of the best cricketers in the world.

In the recently introduced contract system for Indian players, Kohli is placed in the highest category named A+ and draws an annual salary of Rs 7 crores per annum (Rs 58.3 lakh per month)
